“Fog City Strangler” Coming This Winter–More Sam Slater Books On The Way

After the publishing of “San Francisco Secrets” I have been frequently asked if there are going to be more books in the series following the exploits of private eye Sam Slater and Amelia Ryan.

The answer is yes–at least two more.  The next book in the series is “Fog City Strangler.” A serial killer–much like the Boston Strangler–is loose in San Francisco preying on pretty young blonde girls.  This could be a problem since our the main female protagonist–Amelia Ryan–just happens to be a young, beautiful blonde woman.

Sam and Amelia also try to solve the mysterious disappearance of a woman who took her dog for a walk on the beach and seemingly vanished into thin air. Her husband found the dog running free and there was no sign of the woman.

I’m also working on the storyboard and outline for the fifth book in the series “Shadows In The Fog.”

I expect “Fog City Strangler” to be available around the holidays.  “Shadows in the Fog” will be sometime later in 2014.

Thanks for your interest in the series.

About gregmessel

I've written six novels and am working on a seventh. My first three novels were "Expiation," "Sunbreaks" and "The Illusion of Certainty." I'm now working on a series of mysteries set in San Francisco in the 1950s. In 2008, I retired from corporate life and so I can spend more time writing. I spent over ten years in the newspaper business. I now live on Puget Sound in Edmonds, Washington, just north of downtown Seattle.
